PAIN MANAGEMENT

Have you been living with Chronic Pain and you want a BETTER QUALITY of LIFE? To feel more comfort, more enjoyment, more like yourself?

Is pain overrunning your life?

  • Have you had to give up the physical activities that you love because of pain?

  • Are you finding it difficult to keep up with your kids?

  • Have you said no to invitations to go out with friends, or do your friends adjust their plans for you?

  • Is it hard to find a comfortable sitting or standing position?

  • Can you only sit or stand for short periods of time?

  • Do you experience flare-ups of pain at the worst times?

  • Have you had to increase the dosage or frequency of your pain medication?

  • Is it challenging for you to fall asleep or stay asleep because of pain or discomfort?

  • Do you experience steady pain or discomfort, but you just live with it or manage it the best you can?

Hypnotherapy can help decrease pain and INCREASE COMFORT, and get you back to the activities that you love!

Be able to do the activities that you enjoy, play with your kids and go out with friends. Be able to comfortably sit through a meeting, presentation or show and focus on what is happening instead of being distracted by your discomfort. Be able to fall asleep easily and stay asleep throughout the night.

We know that there is a mind-body connection. Have you ever noticed a child fall and scrape his/her knee, and then look around to see if anyone else noticed? If someone was watching, the child cries and the pain intensifies. If the child doesn’t see anyone, he/she is able to brush themselves off and carry on. This is because pain is a complex mental process, and the way in which the mind interprets pain influences how we experience pain.

Scientists have researched the mind’s “pain matrix” and have discovered that there are many factors associated with how we experience pain. There are different parts of the brain that are associated with the meaning of pain, the intensity of pain, and the emotional (suffering) aspect of pain. The experience of pain is also influenced by our beliefs and strategies around pain.

Since we know that there can be a large mental component to experiencing pain and discomfort, there can also be a mental approach to decreasing pain and discomfort. Hypnotherapy is a safe, natural and EFFECTIVE way to help decrease the pain and discomfort you are feeling and INCREASE your COMFORT and EASE OF MOVEMENT, so that you can enjoy life and focus on the things you love!
